Re-Energize your Talent

1/13/2019

I am fortunate that my family shares a cabin on a small lake in the woods about 4 hours from my home. I don’t get there often enough but find myself often longing to be there.

We have no internet access and a land line phone as cell service is sketchy at best.  The clock is the sun.  Days begin with a leisurely cup of tea on the dock followed by breakfast. We eat when we are hungry, sleep when we are tired. Days are spent reading, swimming, kayaking and just enjoying nature.

I come back from these trips re-energized.   I can see issues from a different perspective.  I have new ideas.  I find that I am more focused and much more able to handle whatever life throws at me.

As we start this new year, may you have something in your life that re-energizes you.  It might be a place, a hobby, an avocation, a person. Whatever it is for you, I hope you find many opportunities to “re-energize” during 2019.  It allows us to do our best the rest of the time; to be productive, innovative and focused.

So take the time to find what re-energizes you in 2019 and share it with us here.  If I can help in any way please let me know.

Here’s to Energizing your Talent in 2019!

I love nature and being active. It so energizes me and relaxes me. Sounds opposite but it's not. The energy is my brain clicking on all cylinders, especially my right brain, creative side. The relaxing part is feeling at one with nature. So important to give our bodies the opportunity to recharge in a natural way. I can picture doing all those activities at your idyllic cabin!
